Hi,

I will be starting a beginning astrology class, most likely meeting once a week on Thursday evenings for two hours from 7-9pm. This is a class for the serious student and is limited to six people. The structure that works best is a 15-week class on learning the very basics of the natal chart, followed by a fifteen week class on chart interpretation. That means the first semester lasts from October '09 to February (time off for all holidays) and the second semester from February to May. Classes are taped and made into CDs for the weeks you might have to miss.

I know it's a big commitment but by the end of the 30 weeks you will be able to look at someone's natal chart and do an interpretation for them. We use the charts of the people in class as study tools, (sometimes family members as well) so you end up learning a great deal about your own horoscope and if the past is any prediction, forging new friendships with your classmates. There is homework and reading assignments involved, so you can expect an hour a week of work outside of class. Besides learning about the planets, signs and houses you will learn about chart patterns, chart types, aspects and aspect patterns, lunar phases and the moon's nodes, chart dispositers and more.

The fee is $45/class or if you pay upfront $600 a semester.
